The Copyright Crisis
copyright.gif In the last few years, publishers of music, movies, books, and computer software have managed to lobby Congress (and overseas governments) for some tougher, more-restrictive copyright laws. These laws threaten many freedoms we take for granted in our society, such as the ability to parody a popular song or movie, the freedom to retell an old story in a new way (like Disney often does with age-old tales like Aladdin). When I find stories that fall under this heading, you'll find them here.
